Role Overview

We are hiring for a client operating in a highly regulated industry, seeking a senior Corporate Lawyer to provide strategic legal counsel and ensure full compliance across the organization’s operations, policies, and business transactions. This role serves as a trusted legal advisor to leadership, supporting corporate governance, risk management, and informed decision-making as the business continues to grow. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, between 9.00AM - 6.00PM
Work setup: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and practical legal advice to management and key stakeholders on corporate and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation to protect the organization’s interests
• Lead, guide, and supervise the legal team on day-to-day legal matters
• Develop, review, and oversee company policies related to legal affairs, governance, and compliance
• Advise leadership on legal risks, regulatory developments, and appropriate courses of action
• Conduct in-depth legal research related to partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
• Monitor relevant laws and regulatory changes and recommend policy or operational updates as needed
• Provide legal support during negotiations and complex commercial transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, with a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent LL.B.
• At least 15 years of professional experience practicing corporate or commercial law
• Admission to the Philippine Bar or equivalent legal license is preferred
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial law
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness
• Proficient in standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
