Digital Marketing Specialist

Remote - Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Virtual Assistant to support the launch and growth of an internet-based primary care practice in the healthcare industry. This role focuses on content creation, social media management, and website content optimization to drive patient engagement and build strategic affiliate relationships. The ideal candidate has experience supporting healthcare or wellness brands, enjoys educational content marketing, and can consistently execute marketing tasks that are time-intensive for clinicians.


Work schedule

  • Part-time (20 hours/week)
  • Monday to Friday, aligned with Eastern Time (ET) business hours


Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish consistent social media content, including Instagram reels, posts, and captions.
  • Support educational content initiatives to attract patients and engage affiliate partners (e.g., gyms, wellness providers).
  •  Manage and update website content using a drag-and-drop website builder (e.g., GoDaddy), focusing on clarity, readability, and user experience.
  • Simplify and reorganize existing website content to improve navigation and engagement for patients and affiliates.
  • Link and integrate social media content (e.g., Instagram reels) with website pages to improve visibility and traffic.
  • Assist with blog posting, basic SEO formatting, and content organization to support discoverability.- Coordinate content calendars and ensure consistent posting across platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the practice owner to align content with established branding, messaging, and visual guidelines.
  • Perform ad hoc marketing and content-related tasks as needed to support outreach and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Marketing Virtual Assistant, Social Media Manager, or Digital Marketing Assistant.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, wellness, or professional services brands strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Canva for content creation; familiarity with video editing for short-form content is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience managing websites using drag-and-drop platforms such as GoDaddy, Wix, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, especially Instagram.
  • Excellent written English communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and following established branding and content guidelines.
