We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage a wide range of accounting functions. The CPA will be responsible for handling reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and other accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and has proven expertise in accounting systems, particularly QuickBooks Online.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per week (with potential to increase to full-time)
• Flexible scheduling within Monday to Friday, with required participation in preset client meetings and adherence to turnaround times for assigned deliverables.
• Hawaii business hours

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations for accounts, bank statements, and financial records
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and growth
• Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
• Manage accounting workflows, ensuring timely completion of delegated tasks
• Collaborate with management to assess financial health and plan for upcoming periods
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience across multiple functions (reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, etc.)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results on time
• High reliability and professional judgment in handling sensitive financial data
