Investment Analyst

Remote - Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Investment Analyst to support a boutique capital and advisory firm specializing in M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory across technology, energy, infrastructure, and related sectors. This role focuses on financial modelling, investment research, and preparation of transaction materials. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience from investment banking, Big 4 advisory, or corporate finance, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Schedule aligned with Singapore/Australia time zones, with flexibility to collaborate across global clients (U.S. and Asia)


Responsibilities

  • Build and refine dynamic financial models for capital raising, valuation, M&A, and project finance transactions.
  • Translate commercial assumptions into actionable outputs (e.g., IRR, NPV, sensitivities, return profiles).
  • Support preparation of transaction materials including investor presentations, information memoranda, and financial summaries.
  • Conduct research on investor mandates, industry trends, transaction comparables, and capital providers.
  • Assist in due diligence, data analysis, and transaction execution processes.
  • Maintain structured documentation of financial models, assumptions, and outputs.
  • Provide analytical support to the CEO and leadership team in developing strategies and presenting insights to investors, boards, and partners.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA/CFA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in transactions, investment analysis, or corporate finance from a Big 4 advisory, investment banking, or similar environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (VBA/macros a plus).
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, capital structures, and deal processes.
  • Proven experience preparing or reviewing investor decks, information memoranda, or related transaction materials.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Exposure to energy, infrastructure, or technology sectors is an advantage.
