Financial Modelling Analyst

Metro Manila, National Capital Region Philippines

We are seeking an experience and technical financial modelling analyst to support our deal team to build, review, and refine high-quality financial models that support investor decision-making, capital raising, valuations, and strategic planning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building diverse models, finding ways to solve complex problems and who can deliver responsive, accurate, and commercial models under tight deadlines. The role may provide an opportunity to input on transaction analysis and execution subject to experience.

Work schedule

  • Full-time 40 hours/week
  • Flexible hours with availability to overlap across Singapore, Sydney, and U.S. time zones

Responsibilities

Financial Modelling & Analysis

  • Develop dynamic and robust financial models for capital raising, valuation,
  • fund development, project finance, or M&A mandates.
  • Review and refine client-prepared models to ensure consistency, integrity, and investor readiness
  • Translate commercial and operational assumptions into structured outputs, including IRR, NPV, returns profiles, and sensitivity analysis
  • Build supporting documentation such as model notes, inputs guides, and summary analysis for use in pitch decks and information memoranda
  • Work with internal teams to validate assumptions, run downside cases, and stress test financial outcomes
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive commercial data

Transaction & Capital Advisory Support [Nice to have but not required]

  • Support analysis and preparation of investor presentations, information
  • memoranda, teaser decks, and other capital raising materials
  • Conduct analysis on valuations, financial metrics and transaction inputs.
  • Research capital providers, transaction comparables, industry trends, and
  • investor mandates

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of experience in financial modelling, preferably in a professional services, investment banking, or transactions team
  • Advanced Excel skills, including best-practice modelling standards, error checking, scenario tools, and macros (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and valuation methodologies. Experience with debt modelling preferred.
  • Experience with corporate finance analysis and investment materials preferred
  • Highly responsive and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Commercially minded and intellectually curious
  • Proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean, and collaborative team
  • Interest in climate, infrastructure, defence, advanced industries, or capital markets is a plus
