Sales Development Representative

Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with potential clients, qualify hot leads, and schedule appointments for prospects ready to advance in the sales process. This position is crucial for driving our business growth by ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads into our client’s sales pipeline.

Work schedule

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, 9 AM to 6 PM EST
  • Monday through Saturday, with peak activity times in the mornings and afternoons to evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct up to 150 calls per day to screen potential clients and qualify leads based on specific criteria.
  • Schedule appointments for qualified leads with the sales team, ensuring a seamless transition into the sales process.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes on interactions with leads in Google Sheets, ensuring all lead information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Use Nextiva for call management, enhancing communication efficiency and lead tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to assess and refine lead qualification processes and strategies.
  • Regularly report on lead qualification outcomes and appointment scheduling effectiveness to optimize approaches and achieve targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales, telemarketing, or similar role with a proven track record of successfully qualifying leads and setting appointments.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and maintain professionalism over the phone.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing lead data and call notes.
  • Proficiency in using Google Sheets and familiarity with Nextiva or comparable call management software.
  • Resilience and persistence in high-volume call environments.
  • High school diploma is required; a degree or certification in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
