Business Development Manager

Remote - Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead outbound sales efforts for a growing outsourcing company. This role is focused on generating new business through consistent prospecting, relationship building, and closing high-value deals.

You will operate with a high level of ownership, working directly with leadership to build pipeline, refine messaging, and drive revenue growth. This is a performance-driven role suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment and knows how to turn conversations into signed clients.

Compensation Structure

  • Independent contractor role
  • Guaranteed base pay plus uncapped commission (10-15% of first month contract value per closed deal [~$150 per deal]) based on closed deals

  • Is energized by hitting targets and closing deals, not just setting meetings
  • Thrives in high-volume outbound environments, especially cold calling

Work Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
  • Time zone alignment to U.S. Central Time

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and generate qualified leads through outbound efforts including cold calling, cold email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects across target industries
  • Develop and refine outreach messaging, positioning, and value propositions
  • Conduct discovery calls, qualify opportunities, and move prospects through the sales funnel
  • Own follow-ups across all lead stages (cold, warm, and active opportunities)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine targeting, pricing strategy, and service positioning
  • Document outreach processes, learnings, and playbooks to support scalability
  • Track performance metrics and continuously optimize conversion rates
  • Close deals and contribute directly to revenue growth


    Qualifications

    • At least 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in BPO, outsourcing, or service-based industries
    • Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals through outbound efforts
    • Strong experience with cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn prospecting
    • Comfortable handling objections and navigating complex sales conversations
    • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms)
    • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven
    • Ability to work independently in a remote, startup environment
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
